Akilia Villa San Lorenzo is a very fruity white wine. It is a wine with character. Ample, fresh and expressive, with a very good acidity and a finish with salty touches. What Mario Rovira has done is magic. Giving us a wine with a lot of identity and very personal but with all the character of this surprising and admired wine region.

• Location: San Lorenzo (Ponferrada)
• Variety: 75% Palomino, 25% Doña Blanca.
• Geographical indication: D.O. Bierzo
• Alcohol: 12,5 %
• Vineyard: It is made from grapes coming from a small plot of 0.5 hectares facing west where vines of around 75 years of age grow.
• Soil type: Clay loam soils on slate and quartzite.
• Climate: Continental Mediterranean with Atlantic influence, characterised by extreme temperature differences between winter and summer.
• Processing method: The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in 2,000-litre tanks. The resulting wine is aged on its fine lees for 5 months in stainless steel tanks and the rest is aged in used French oak barrels of 228 litres capacity for 5 months.
• Certification: Certified ecological.
