Description
Cassia Cinnamon Stick is a type of cinnamon, known as Southeast Asian or Chinese cinnamon (as opposed to Ceylon cinnamon, which is the one we use in baking). Cassia cinnamon is thicker, harder and forms a double spiral, with a darker colour and much stronger flavour, and with a typical spicy aroma. We recommend its use in cinnamon-based gins, among which we highlight the following: Boë Gin, Brecon Gin Botanical´s, Brecon Gin Special Reserve, Citadelle, G´Vine Nouasion, The London Nº1, Magellan, Mombasa Club, Gin Nut, Seagram´s, The Botanical’s Premium London Dry Gin.
